Josh please at some point in the review can you do a bit on vocal where you switch from cardioid to fig 8

I'm taking more time on this one than any other mic review I've done so far to display all the polar patterns, etc.. It's so versatile! I was going to just do acoustic guitar and vocal demo but then I wondered what it would sound like on a guitar amp...then bass amp...then drums...it's getting out of control on this one haha. |

Can't wait to hear your demo of this mic Josh. You review of the BU67 is what convinced me into buying my own BU67 mk1. It's a great little mic. I am curious about this one and the BU47.

The C12A always came off as a utilitarian mic to me. (I have not used one for several years now though.....). Now, the tall, skinny C12 is a hole nuther ball game.... Pure magic when it happens.

I've kind of felt the same but not at all with the BeesNeez version. I finished tracking just now(I think LOL). So I will get this finished up and on the channel ASAP. |

Sounds great. My natural inclination is to primarily focus on the (terrific) singing. And the "whole song" together. But... Even "recording Grasshopper" here, noticed how exceptional the BC12A was on the individual instrumental capture.  Chris P.S. How would you compare/contrast the BC12A with the BU67 overall? My sense is that they're complementary. |

I don’t know what happened here; this was an answer to you wanting to try t both the 67 and the 12 together. I’ll get a mk2 over to you to play with. (I must have quoted the wrong post lol. Pretty typical for me actually!) Haha! Value for Value...I certainly never expect anything for free, but when manufacturers believe in what I offer enough to do so it's always greatly appreciated and I hope I give that value back many times over! |
